Playdates, visitors and a bigger vocabulary
March has arrived in Georgetown and Spring weather is in full swing-- aside from the occasional day of rain, we've mostly been enjoying sunny skies and near-80 degree temps! So, it's perfect timing for a 3-week visit from Luc's Grandmama and Grandpapa.
Luc's vocabulary has been expanding almost daily, in both French and English. He understands commands to wash his hands, get ready to sleep, drink his milk, and go outside in French while his English vocabulary is growing to include words like car, book, puppy and music. His latest phrase is "tickle-tickle" which he learned from a little girl at the grocery store (but to hear Luc say it sounds more like, "Gigo-gigo"). He's started to speak a little Tagalog too-- whenever Mommy's on the phone with Lola, Luc starts saying, "Oh-oh, "oh-oh" ("yes, yes").
