baby books often compare the fetus to the size of a fruit or vegetable to give you an idea of the baby's size. at one point during the first trimester of jenn's pregnancy, a book indicated that "by now, your baby is the size of an olive." we thought that was cute and began calling him "baby olive," although he soon grew to the size of a lemon, a pear, etc...

OMG!! He's a rock star!! How awesome! I wish we still lived close....I would love to hear him talking french and watching him grow and play. Yay for the internet!! At least I don't feel totally deprived ;o)
